RESOLUTION NO. 7495 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> Resolution Establishing Public Hearing Dates for the Proposed General Fund <br /> Budget and Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2010 <br /> WHEREAS, the City is required to hold a truth in taxation hearing under the truth in <br /> taxation laws, as part of the budget process to adopt its final General Fund Budget and <br /> Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2010; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council would like to provide an opportunity for public comment <br /> at a public hearing on the 2010 General Fund Budget and Property Tax Levy; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council must select dates for an initial public hearing and a <br /> continuation public hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, certification of the public hearing dates to the Ramsey County Auditor <br /> must occur on or before September 15, 2009. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View that the initial Truth in Taxation public hearing will be held on Monday, December 7, <br /> 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the continuation Truth in Taxation public hearing, <br /> if needed, will be held as part of the regular City Council meeting on Monday, December <br /> 14, 2009 at 7:05 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the adoption of the final General Fund Budget <br /> and Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2010 may occur as part of the regular City Council <br /> meeting on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 7:05 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these dates to <br /> the Ramsey County Auditor. <br /> Adopted this 14th Day of September 2009. <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: C <br /> Jim Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br />
