RESOLUTION NO. 7879 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENTS OF DAVE LONG (PARK <br /> RECREATION, AND FORESTRY COMMISSION), DALE AUKEE (CHAIRPERSON OF <br /> THE PARK, RECREATION AND FORESTRY COMMISSION), AND <br /> TONY HOFFMAN (STREETS AND UTILITIES COMMITTEE) <br /> WHEREAS, Mounds View Board, Commission and Committees consist of members <br /> appointed by the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, there is one vacant seat to fill on the Parks, Recreation and Forestry <br /> Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, there is one vacant seat to fill on the Streets and Utilities Committee; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff received an application from Dave Long, to be reappointed to the <br /> Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff received an application from Tony Hoffman, to be reappointment <br /> to the Streets and Utilities Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff recommends the reappointment of Dave Long to the Parks, <br /> Recreation, and Forestry Commission for a three (3) year term; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff recommends the reappointment of Tony Hoffman to the Streets <br /> and Utilities Committee, for a three (3) year term; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Parks Recreation and Forestry Commission made a motion <br /> recommending the appointment of Dale Aukee as Chairperson of the Park Recreation and <br /> Forestry Commission. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby approve the following Mounds View resident to <br /> serve on the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission: <br /> Name Term Expiration <br /> Dave Long December 31, 2014 <br /> 2. The City Council does hereby approve Dale Aukee as Chairperson on the <br /> Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission. <br />
