RESOLUTION 7894 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUPPORT OF THE MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY <br /> THEATRE CONSISTENT WITH THE POLICY FOR THE SUPPORT OF ARTISTIC <br /> ORGANIZATIONS <br /> WHEREAS, on May 27,2003,the City Council adopted a policyforthe support of artistic <br /> organizations consistent with MN Statutes 471.941; and, <br /> WHEREAS, to receive support, the artistic organization shall submit a letter describing <br /> (1) their organization sufficient to establish that it is within the definition of an artistic <br /> organization as set forth in 471.941 and (2) the type of support requested; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on January 25, 2012, the City received a request from the Mounds View <br /> Community Theatre artistic organization to utilize the City's copier as it has in previous years; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, consistentwith the Policy, the CityAdministrator reviewed the request and <br /> determined it complies with said Policy. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, consistent with the adopted Policy for the Support of Artistic Organizations, approves <br /> Mounds View Community Theatre's request for support as follows: <br /> Use of the City's copy machine, subject the following limitations: <br /> 1. The number of"impressions" shall be limited to 7,200 or less <br /> 2. City use of copier shall take priority <br /> 3. City staff will not operate copier on behalf of MVCT <br /> 4. MVCT shall provide its own paper and any necessary office supplies <br /> 5.
