�'-- `�_> '' i -=_... _.-.� --- - � - �-°--- -- _ -- _- - - >:_._... --�---_, �_'- _ _ ___ . <br />� - - � <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMIVIISSION <br />RF�OLUTION NO. 538-98 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MIIVNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMIV�ENllING DENIAL OF ORDINANCE 614, AN <br />ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REZONING OF PROPERTIES LOCATED AT <br />2625 HIGHWAY 10 AND 7715-7761 EASTWOOD ROAD FROM R-3, MEDNM <br />DENSII'Y RESIDENTIAL, AND R-1, SINGLE FAlVIILY RESIDENTIAL, <br />TO B-2, LIlVIITED BUSINESS DISTRICT; <br />PLANNING CASE NOe 507-97. <br />WHEREAS, TOLD Development Company has applied for a rezoning of the properties <br />located at 2625 Highway 10 and 7715-7761 Eastwood Road from residential to commercial.; and, <br />WHEREAS, the subject properties are described as follows: <br />The South '/ of Lot 51, All of Lot S0, Lot 49 anrl Lot 78, <br />Spring Lake Park Hillview, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />V'�HEREAS, the subject properties form a contiguous tract of land at the northeast corner <br />of the Highway 10 and County Road I, at the fringe of an establisherl residential neighborhood; <br />and, <br />VVHEREAS, the proposal would remove four existing single-family homes from the City's <br />housing stock; and, <br />WHEREAS, the rezoning request would not be consistent with the comprehensive plan, <br />which designates the properkies as low and high density residential. <br />NOW TI�EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />does hereby recommend that the City Council deny Ordinance 614, an ordinance approving the <br />rezoning of properties located at 2625 Highway 10 and 7715-61 Eastwood Road to B-2, Limited <br />Business District. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission directs Staff <br />to forward this Resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes. <br />' - 1 <br />` <-:=- � <br />
