2. No more apartment buildings are needed. <br />3. The homogeneous mix of uses along Highway 10 should be continued. <br />4. Rezonings which create nonconforming classifications within an existing district <br />should be prohibited. <br />5. A mini - storage use should be developed on the city -owned property at County Road 1 <br />and Eastwood. <br />6. Do not rezone residential to commercial or business. <br />7. No more strip commercial is needed. <br />8. The property on the north side of Hillview from Quincy to 35W should be zoned <br />medium density. <br />9. Golf Course should be designated CRP. <br />10. The Industrial area adjacent to the golf course should stay. <br />11. No new developments along Highway 118. The park and tree buffers should remain. <br />12. If manufactured home parks are redeveloped, they should be only replaced with low <br />and medium density homes. <br />Transportation <br />1. No sidewalks should be required. <br />2. Trail system is inadequate because of Highway 10. The trail system should connect to <br />Shoreview, Fridley, New Brighton, and along Highway 10. The trail system should be <br />designated in the comprehensive plan. <br />3. Keep MTC bus service as is. <br />4. Street maintenance is adequate. <br />5. Better speed limit enforcement is necessary. <br />6. Do not upgrade Anoka County airport. <br />7. Flight paths should be defined. <br />8. Any future vacation of Highway 10 right -of -way should be reserved for public use. <br />9. Does the City plan to extend Woodlawn to the north. Several lots currently do not have <br />have street access. <br />10. The Long Lake Road Highway 10 intersection should be reconfigured to have 1 left <br />turn lane, 1 thru lane, and 1 right turn lane in each direction on Long Lake Road. <br />11. City streets should not be widened. <br />Miscellaneous <br />1. Don't use city tax dollars to buy real estate. <br />2.
