It wilt span the highway just west of Long Lake 1Zoad. The applicant is coneerned <br />that the bridge will obscure the identification sign for ihe shopping center. The City is <br />endeavoring to obtain an easement from th� applicant for the ramp. The applicant is <br />reluctant to grant such an easement wiihout the City addressing the possible obstruction ta <br />the visibility of the shopping center which might be creaied by fhe bridge. Staf�° suggested <br />to th� applicant that they apply for a variance based on a visual simulation of the bridge <br />and its relaiion to the shopping cen�er identification sign. <br />The applicani has pravided a photograph showing the bzid�e as it wouid appear from <br />Higliway 10 southeast of the iniersection with �,ong Lake Road, This photo�caph showed <br />that the existing Mounds View Square pylon si�n would be obscured.
