A discussion follewed in regard to the iime limi�s established by State Law as ta the length of tim� allowed beiween ih� submittal of a proposal to the decision dat�. The noamallimit is 60 days, wluch can b� extended by the ciiy ai it� discretio� %r an additiona160 days. 3f no decision is made by th� Ciiy Caunci� by then, it is considered approved with no aetion iaken. The applicarrt can determine if they want tco extend the time. Ms. Sheldon noted that 60 days from the date of the application (July 15, 1996) would be September 12, 1996. The applicant has been sent a letter not�g thern thai the City is exicending the review time for an additiona160 days ar to November 11. Mr. Long, City Attomey, noted that tl�e criteria under 1106.04 �oted that the front yard setback can b� no tess thari 35 feet. The appiicant is praviding only a 30 foot setback. I�e wondered if the ch�arch would be able to be built to comply with the 35 foot front setback requirements.
