The sign at each driveway entrance shall be located on the northwest side of the <br />driveway mor�a�s�s as shown in the diagram submitted with this application. <br />_ _ � <br />een9. ' <br />4. Foc the signs at fihe d�iveway entrances, no more than 3/4 � of the sign wall m�y <br />be used for wording (i.e, that portion of the wall face which is 10 � feet x 15 i� <br />feet} as measured using rectangies around each business's c�ame and the shopping <br />center's nazne. Letters shall not exceed 1%at 6 inches in height. No wording may <br />appeac on the wall exiensions. All lettering for tenants names shall be uniform <br />cotor e�cept that a corporate color scheme inte�ral to the identity of the companX <br />ma,��used. The lettering for the name of the shopping center ma.y be the same <br />color or a contrasting color. Lettering may be internally illuminated or the sign <br />may have indirect iiluminaiion from ground lighting. Any ground lighting shall be <br />shielded so light rays are ciirected to the sign, but the lighi source is not visible to <br />the street or parking area. <br />5. Signage shall be limited to the name of individual businesses and the name of the <br />shopping center. A partion of the sign face shall be used for <br />the shopping center name. <br />6. The design of the sign to be installed at the intersection of Long Lake Road and <br />Highway 10 shall be coordinated with the design of the bridge and be located <br />outside the required sight lines for ihe Hi�h�va�IO,/Long La�Ce Road intersection. <br />This variance allows for 145 square feet of sign area to be used for wording, not to <br />exceed 10 feet l�i�h, of which �/i �ortion shall be used for the name of the <br />shopping center . The City <br />shall determine the height and length of the wail and its placement, in consultation <br />with the applieant, as long as the sign area allowed by this variance is <br />accommodated. If the applicant desires to display signage on the wall, the <br />applicant shall be responsible for the cost of constructing up to 280 square feet of <br />wall at this location, uniess an aiternative funding arrangement wi�h the City is <br />approved by the City Council. <br />
