Antennae permitted as us� by right: As proposed, only antennae lacating on the water <br />tower and anteruiae co-iocating on e�sting towers are allowecE as permitted uses, If an <br />accessary buiiding is reyuired for the water tower site, fihe Zoning Code will need to be <br />amended to a11ow such buildings since the water iower is in ihe PF district and this districi <br />onIy allows public facilities. We would suggest that accessory buildir►gs associated with a <br />telecommunications antenna be aIlowed with approvaI oi a conditionat use permit. <br />Towers are not permitted in residential districts. Roof-mounted anterinae are alIowed in <br />residential districts as a conditional use i� locaied on a schvot, church, government or <br />pubtic utility building (see chari below). <br />Antennae and towers are ailowed with approval of a CUP as follows: <br />R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4, R-S, R-O <br />(antennae only) <br />: C <br />B-3, B-4, I-], CRP* and PF'� <br />2Q Feet, <br />oniy as roof-mounted on school, <br />church, government or pubfic utility <br />buildings; or in "upward thrusting <br />architectucal efements" snch as <br />church steeptes <br />75 Feet <br />I00 Feet <br />N/A <br />95 Feet <br />120 Feet <br />*Towers znust meet higher stancfards of landscaping and screening in th� CRP and PF Districts. <br />4. Co-location is recommended whenever possible, but not required. Applicants must show <br />that any new antenna cannot be accommodated on an existing tower. Applicants <br />providing far co-location of an additional anteruia would receive a height bonus of 20 feet. <br />5. Appiicants are not required to provide space on proposed towers in speculation of fiature <br />co-loc�iors, if costs of doing so are overiy prohibitive. <br />'� <br />
