This moratarrium is set to expire on March �, 1997. The Planning Commission held a special session on October 23, 1996 to discuss tt�is topic at which meeting industry representatives were present �o give short presentations and to answer questions. Staff presented the Catnmission with a draft ordinance �or review on December 4, 1996, which generated additional comments and suggestions. These changes have been incorporated into a revised draft ordinance. Recommendation Staff recommends that the Planning Commission review the attached revised draft of the wireless telecommunications ordinance and make suggestions and or commer�ts as to its conteni and provisions, If the Planning Commission considers the ordinance acceptable, staff recomnnends that the Planning Commission adopt Resoluiion No. 491-96 recommending approval of the ordina.nce to the City Council. An� A number of changes have been made io the proposed ordinance. Any language that 11as been added since the December 4, 1996 meeting is shaded. Some language has been deleted as a result of the that meeting and suggestions made by City Aitorney Bob Long.
