The regulatians <br />also require a permit be obtained for any deveIopment in a wetland zoning dis�ric�. This perinit is <br />referred io as a wetiand alteration pem�it. T'he authority for issuing pemuts is either <br />administra�ive or by City Counc�I, deper�ding on the proposed ac�ivity. <br />I9iscussione <br />Staff is p�oposing changes to Section 1 � 10 to address two main issues: <br />� adding typical, minor construciion projects to the list of activiii�s for which administrative <br />authority is given for issuing permits <br />� creating two types o�permits: a wetland aiteration pernut and a weiland buffer permit to <br />eliminat� confiasion <br />With respect to the first issue, ihe items which are now iis#ed under administrative pemuts <br />include: <br />1. repair or mainter�ance of any lawful use existing on the effective date of the ordinance <br />2. alterations within the wetland buffer zone (which} da nat extetzd into or impact the <br />adjacent wetland <br />3, public or private utility work on �xisting facilities <br />4. instalIation and maintenance of fenc�s <br />5. landscaping not includin� imper�vious surfaces <br />6, d�tached garages and �ccessary buildings <br />7. gradiYrg which do�s not adverseiy aI#er storm water storag� capacity, storm water flow <br />direciion or runoff intensity <br />�. temporary struc�iares not requiring permanent foundations or pads for supporti <br />; Staff is suggesting that buildin� additions and impervious s�arfaces which are 1264 square feet in <br />
