_ i <br />Billboard Expansion Request <br />September 5, 2001 <br />Page 2 <br />Recommendation: <br />At this point, City staff is simply requesting that the Planning Commission discuss this request to <br />determine whether the proposed expansion would be consistent with the City's long range <br />corridor pZans and whether the benefits of the aesthetic improvements would outweigh the <br />imposition ofthe expansion. <br />Tf it is determined that an expansion would be consistent with the City's long term corridor plans <br />and would he in the City's best interest, three issues would need to be addressed: <br />1. Wetland Alteration Pennit would be required. <br />2. An easement or lease agreement would need to be approved for expansion area. <br />3.
