MOUNDS V1EW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 681-01 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VJEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE QF MINNES�TA <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED RES�LUTIDN 633-00, A <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCES FROM THE MOUNDS V�W ZONING <br />CODE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT �F AN OFFICE BUII,DING AT 7664 <br />GREENFIELD AVENUE; MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE VR00-007. <br />WHEREAS, on September 13, 2000, the Planning Commission approved a variance from <br />the Zoning Code requirements for the property located at 7664 Greenfield Avenue, property <br />_ zoned B-3, Highway Business, and legally-described as follows: <br />Lot 30, Block 3, Greenfield Plat 2,Except the North 10 Feet thereof,' Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />WHEREAS, after the site plan for the development located on the subject property had <br />been approved, it was discovered that the setback of tiie driveway onto County Road I did not <br />meet the minimum requirement of 50 feet; and, <br />WHEREAS, as originally proposed, the setback af the driveway was 37 feet from the <br />intersection; and, <br />WHEREAS, on November 13, 2001 the City Council approved a revision of the site plan <br />which relocated the access from County Road I to Greenfield Avenue; and, . <br />WHEREAS, the setback of the relocated access onto Greenfield Avenue is 39 feet from <br />the intersec�ion, two feet further away than originally proposed yet still inconsistent with City <br />Code requirements; and, <br />WHEREAS, a public heazing was held regarding this variance amendment on <br />Wednesday, December 13, 2001; and, <br />N�W, THEREFORE, BE IT RES�LVED, the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />- finds that the hardship criteria articulated in Resolution 633-00 (included herein by reference) <br />apply to this amendment in addition to the following: <br />
