RESOLUTION 7905 <br /> WHEREAS, approval of the plans and specifications must be received from the <br /> Minnesota Department of Transportation prior to the awarding a construction contract <br /> for the project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The bidding documents prepared by Stantec for construction of the 2012 Street and <br /> Utility Improvement Project—Area E are hereby approved. <br /> 2. City staff is hereby directed to cause to be published in the Sun-Focus newspaper <br /> and in a regional trade publication, at least three weeks before the last day to submit <br /> bids, a notice to bidders for the implementation of said project as required by law. <br /> 3. The time and date for receipt of public bids for said Project is hereby established as <br /> 10:00 a.m., local time, Thursday, March 29, 2012, at which time they will be publicly <br /> opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers of the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> 4. City staff is hereby directed to proceed with all activities necessary for the <br /> procurement of Municipal State Aid Funds for the eligible improvements to be <br /> constructed within the Project. <br /> 5. Stantec is authorized to provide professional services associated with the bid phase <br /> of the Project, with compensation on an hourly basis with reimbursable expenses, <br /> for an estimated maximum fee amount of$7,300. <br /> 6.
