Consideration of Resolution No. 95-EDA-31, Construction Plans for Bridges Leasing <br />Company. <br />Ms. Cathy Bennett, Economic Development Coordinator, explained that before the <br />Commission was Resolution No. 95-EDA-31, approving the construction plans for the <br />Midwest IV Project as required by the development agreement between the EDA and <br />Bridges Leasing Co. <br />Ms. Bennett stated the construction plans were submitted to the city building department <br />on August 31, 1995. <br />Mayor Linke asked if the Building Official indicated any problems that the council or staff <br />should be concerned about. <br />Ms. Bennett explained that the Building Official had sent a memo indicating that they had <br />received all of the plans with the exception of the construction rec�uirements which they <br />expect to receive. She noted that approval of the resolution is for the design plans and <br />does not constitute approval of a Building Permit. However, the Building Official has not <br />indicated any concerns to this point. <br />Mr. Jim Winkles of Bel-Air Builders and Mr. I,arry Lindberg of Bridges Leasing Company <br />were present to provide information in regard to the construction plans. Mr. Winkels <br />stated the last item the Building Department was wainting for is the structural plans which <br />should be done by Wednesday, September 13th. He presented the site plan of the <br />building as well as the proposed landscaping plan to the commission for their review. <br />Ms. Bennett asked if Mr. Winkles could provide the commission with a schematic design <br />of the exterior so they would be able to see what the proposed building will look like. <br />Mr. Winkel presented a copy of this plan for the commission's review. He noted that the <br />exterior will be a combination of decorative block and glass. There will be window bands <br />going all around the building. They would like to provide bands of decorative blocic with <br />some different color variations. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quicic/Trude to approve Resolution No. 95-EDA-31, Approving <br />the Construction Plans for Midwest I.V.
