' , . _ _ , _ _ ' � <br />, : � � �'- <br />Ms. Bennett stated the resolution will be numbered 95-EDA-34. <br />Ms. Bennett explained that the intent of purchasing the property is to begin the <br />redevelopment of Highway 10. The city envisions that property to be rezoned for <br />commercial use and possibly have a low use commercial use (of�ice building) which would <br />not hinder the residents in that area. This property would then be pacicaged with the <br />vacant lots which the city will be obtaining an appraisal on. Once the purchase <br />agreement for the property has been negotiated, the city will likely go out for a request for <br />qualifications to several developers in the metro area and come back with some options <br />for the site. <br />VOTE: <br />REPORTS: <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />1. Report of Executive Director: <br />Ms. Orduno stated the city's purchase of this property will not deter in any way the city's <br />ability to create a redevelopment tax increment district, and this will likely be put into the <br />redevelopment district.
