This study would be more in-depth and provide uses that would be possible for the <br />area based on access to the site, flow of traffic, designs, etc. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Hanlrner to Approve Resolution No. 96-EDA-51, Authorizing the Economic <br />Development Commission to Work on a Request for Proposal and Solicit Bids for the Development of a <br />Vision and Schematic Plan for Highway 10 Redevelopment Area, Section 9. <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />C. Consideration of Resolution No. 96-EDA-52, Accepting Demolition Bid for the removal of House <br />Located at 8265 Spring Lalce Road. <br />Ms. Bennett explained that the city sent out eight specification packets to contractors for the demolition of <br />property located at 8265 Spring Lake Road. They received demolition agreements from three contractors, <br />the lowest of which was received fi•om Herbst & Sons in the amount of $6,300. Specifications state that <br />the wbrlc must be completed by September 20, 1996. After demolition is complete, staff will begin <br />soliciting interest in the property from developers with hopes to sell the land to a developer by the end of <br />October 1996. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Trude to Approve Resolution No. 96-EDA-52, Accepting Demolition Bid <br />for the Removal of House Located at 8265 Spring Lake Road. <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />D.
