RESOLUTION 7930 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING BARR ENGINEERING COMPANY TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR <br />PART 2 OF THE WELLHEAD PROTECTION PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is mandated to implement wellhead <br />protection measures through a Wellhead Protection Plan in accordance with Minnesota <br />Rules, Chapter 4720; and <br />WHEREAS, the Wellhead Protection Plan is implemented in two Parts and the <br />City requires the assistance of professional consulting services to complete; and <br />WHEREAS, Barr Engineering Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota prepared <br />Part 1 of the Wellhead Protection Plan, which was subsequently approved by the <br />Minnesota Department of Health; and <br />WHEREAS, Part 2 of the Wellhead Protection Plan is required to be completed <br />by April 15, 2013 and Barr Engineering Company has provided the City with a fee <br />proposal not to exceed $22,500 to provide professional services associated with this <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />The letter proposal submitted by Barr Engineering Company to provide professional <br />engineering services for Part 2 of the Wellhead Protection Plan is hereby accepted <br />by the City. Compensation will be on an hourly basis plus reimbursable expenses <br />for $19,830 with a maximum fee not to exceed $22,500. <br />2.
