RESOLUTION 7947 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF DON BURDA AS A <br />TEMPORARY BUILDING INSPECTOR <br />IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, due to the resignation of the Building Official/Fire Marshal the <br />Community Development Department needs assistance with building inspections; and <br />WHEREAS, at the May 7, 2012, Work Session, Staff and the City Council <br />discussed hiring a Temporary Building Inspector while the City recruits applicants for <br />the Building Official Position; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff contacted the former part-time building inspector pon Burda to <br />determine his interest in assisting the City with building inspections; and <br />WHEREAS, Don Burda has the necessary background, training and experience, <br />interest and skills to perForm the duties assigned to this part-time temporary position. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby approve the hire of Don Burda to the position of part-time Temporary <br />Building Inspector in the Community Development Department, subject to: <br />Mr. Burda passing the required background checks. <br />2. The City paying Mr. Burda $20.00 per hour. <br />3.
