RESOLUTION 7935 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING STANTEC TO PERFORM PRELIMINARY DESIGN SERVICES FOR <br />COUNTY ROAD H SIDEWALK PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan includes a trail and sidewalk map to be <br />used for development and improvement of a citywide trailway system; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department, Parks and Recreation and Forestry <br />Commission, and the Streets and Utilities Committee recommend a sidewalk in the <br />north boulevard of County Road H between Silver Lake Road and Edgewood Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, preliminary design for a future sidewalk will assist with construction <br />of the 2012 Street and Utilities Improvement Project - Area E; and <br />WHEREAS, Stantec has provided a fee proposal for $8,200 to perform <br />preliminary design services for the County Road H sidewalk between Silver Lake Road <br />and Edgewood Drive. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The fee proposal submitted by Stantec to perform preliminary design services for the <br />County Road H sidewalk is hereby accepted by the City. Compensation will be on <br />an hourly basis plus reimbursable expenses for $8,200 with a maximum fee not to <br />exceed $9,000. <br />2.
