RESOLUTION NO. 7956 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR <br /> BUILDING OFFICIAL/FIRE MARSHAL KATHI OSMONSON <br /> WHEREAS, effective Friday, May 4, 2012, Kathi Osmonson resigned as Building <br /> Official/Fire Marshal with the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 50.97; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 21.09; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kathi Osmonson's rate of pay is $33.65 per hour; and <br /> WHEREAS,the maximum potential payout of sick time will be 50.97 hours x 50%x <br /> $33.65 = $857.57; and <br /> WHEREAS, the maximum potential payout of vacation time will be 21.09 hours x <br /> $33.65 = $709.68; and <br /> WHEREAS, a combined total of accrued/unused sick and vacation time, not to <br /> exceed $1,567.25, will be contributed to Kathi Osmonson's Retirement Health Savings <br /> Plan in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves a one-time payout of sick time not to exceed $857.57 into Kathi Osmonson's <br /> Retirement Health Saving Plan in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br /> Council approves a one-time payout of vacation time into Kathi Osmonson's Retirement <br /> Health Savings Plan not to exceed $709.68 consistent with the Mounds View Personnel <br /> Manual. <br /> Adopted this 29th day of May, 2012. <br /> e Flaherty, 26";.A. vr <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
