RESOLUTION NO. 7983 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> Resolution Establishing Public Hearing Dates for the Proposed General Fund <br /> Budget and Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2013 <br /> WHEREAS,the City is required to hold a truth in taxation hearing under the truth in <br /> taxation laws, as part of the budget process to adopt its final General Fund Budget and <br /> Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2013; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council would like to provide an opportunity for public comment <br /> at a hearing on the 2013 General Fund Budget and Property Tax Levy; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council must select dates for an initial hearing and a <br /> continuation hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, certification of the hearing dates to the Ramsey County Auditor must <br /> occur on or before September 15. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View that the initial Truth in Taxation hearing will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at <br /> 6:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the continuation Truth in Taxation hearing, if <br /> needed, will be held as part of the regular City Council meeting on Monday, December 10, <br /> 2012 at 7:05 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the adoption of the final General Fund Budget <br /> and Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2013 may occur as part of the regular City Council <br /> meeting on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 7:05 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these dates to <br /> the Ramsey County Auditor. <br /> Adopted this 27th Day of August 2012. <br /> •e Fla" '~or <br /> ATTEST: <br /> JOar"..t4 <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br />
