RESOLUTION 7997 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> REVISING SECTION 3.40 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW PERSONNEL MANUAL <br /> PERTAINING TO THE VACATION ACCRUAL SCHEDULE <br /> WHEREAS, according to Section 3.40 of the Personnel Manual, all regular and part- <br /> time employees averaging 20 hours or more per week are eligible to accrue vacation; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff became aware of an ambiguity in the vacation accrual schedule for <br /> employees in their eleventh year of employment; and, <br /> WHEREAS, in order to clarify the ambiguity, Staff is recommending revising the <br /> vacation accrual schedule under Section 3.40 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves the following revision to Section 3.40 pertaining to the City's vacation accrual <br /> schedule: <br /> Years of Service Days per Year <br /> 6 months 1 year 10 days <br /> 1-through 5 years 10 days <br /> After 5 years through 10 years 15 days <br /> After 11 years 16 days <br /> After 12 years 17 days <br /> After 13 years 18 days <br /> After 14 years 19 days <br /> After 15 years 20 days <br /> After 20 years 25 days <br /> Adop ed this 24th day of September, 2012. <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
