<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4486 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO FORMALLY REJECT THE EMERGENCY PLANS FOR TOWNS EDGE, <br />COLONIAL VILLAGE AND MOUNDS VIEW MANUFACTURED HOME PARKS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City'S Emergency Seryices Officer, Dave Brick, <br />together with Ramsey County's Emergency Services Director, William <br />Conter have reviewed the emergency plans for Towns Edge <br />Manufactured Home Park, Colonial Village Park and Mounds View <br />Manufactured Home Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, each of the plans designate shelter sites that are <br />inadequate to serve the emergency needs of the residents of the <br />three parks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current plans do not designate sites which are <br />large enough to accommodate the possible numbers of people who may <br />come to the site during an emergency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the plans also do not designate sites which are <br />accessible in terms of appropriate distance or hours of operation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current emergency plans have been determined to <br />be inadequate to meet the emergency needs of the residents of the <br />three aforementioned manufactured home parks. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council in and <br />for the City of Mounds View does hereby reject the current <br />emergency plans for manufactured home parks: Towns Edge, Colonial <br />Village and Mounds View Park. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, the City Council requests that <br />Ramsey County begin the process of evaluating the emergency needs <br />of the residents of the three parks and works with all interested <br />parties to develop a plan which will provide for the safety and <br />well being of the residents of the manufactured home parks within <br />the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />1994. <br /> <br />.
