Polluted lands proposals/legislation <br />1. Require County Board approval or modification of '1'1: <br />plans; <br />2. Require an extension of the County's review period from <br />30 to 60 days; <br />3. Develop a county-vide economic development plan that <br />focuses on clean-up and development/redevelopment of <br />polluted lands; (such plan should be part of a compre- <br />hensive regional plan to deal with the clean-up of <br />polluted sites); <br />4. Prioritize the sites that are to be cleaned up; <br />S. Require changes in the 'lav that would limit the costs <br />associated with pre-cleanup, including' litig'ation <br />costs; <br />6. Require state funds/qrants to finance clean-up of <br />polluted lands; and <br />B. All other TIE proposals <br />1. Require County Board approval or modification of TI: <br />plans: <br />2. Require a eO-day review period for the county to review <br />TIF proposals; <br />3. Requi re the abili ty to create a countY--'N'ide economic <br />development plan vhich yould be part of a regional <br />economic development plani . <br />4. Require retention of the current limits on pooling; and <br />S.
