<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3083 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR AN ELECTION ON THE <br />QUESTION OF THE CITY ISSUING ITS GENERAL OBLIGATION <br />BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $945,000 <br />FOR FIRE PROTECTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has investigated the facts and <br />hereby finds, determines and declares that, in furtherance of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, (a) it is necessary for <br />and expedient that land, buildings and equipment for municipal <br />fire protection and firefighting purposes be acquired, <br />constructed, furnished and/or otherwise improved; (b) subject <br />to approval of the electorate, the City issue its general <br />obligation bonds for said purposes, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS,' the the question of authorizing the issuance <br />of the City's general obligation bonds in an amount not to <br />exceed $945,000." for such purposes shall be submitted to the <br />qualified electors of the City at the municipal general <br />election to be held in the City on November 6, 1990, said <br />election to be held between the hours of 7:00 <br />o'clock a.m. and 8:00 o'clock p.m. Said question has not been <br />sumitted to the voters in an election within the last six <br />months, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Acting City Clerk-Administrator is hereby <br />authorized and directed to post and publish according to law a <br />Notice of Election and Ballot, and to prepare ballots (which <br />shall be white in color) for use at said election, which <br />notice and ballot shall be in substantially the following <br />forms: <br />
