<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4106 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING REGIONAL SENIOR CENTER TASK FORCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, representatives from the cities of Fridley, New <br />Brighton, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park have been studying <br />issues related to the establishment of a regional senior center <br />since February, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a preliminary staff report indicated that higher <br />quality and more diversified senior services may be achievable <br />through a regional approach than through the efforts of any on <br />city; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is important that senior citizens and other <br />community interests have an opportunity to evaluate a regional <br />approach to establishing senior citizens services; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />Ci ty of Mounds View supports the establishment of a regional senior <br />citizen center task force that will be charged with the <br />responsibilities identified in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View does hereby appoint four Mounds View residents to <br />represent the City of Mounds View on the twenty-one member senior <br />center task force: <br /> <br />1. Harold Otte <br />2. Jerry Skelly, Sr. <br />3. Bill Woods <br />4.
