<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4109 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING DYNE X INDUSTRIES, <br />4751 MUSTANG DRIVE, AS A RAMSEY COUNTY <br />HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION FACILITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has negotiated an agreement to implement a <br />household hazardous waste facility with Dynex Industries, Inc., located in <br />Mounds View; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has requested the City of Mounds View to <br />indicate its support for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has reviewed the <br />request as it relates to the community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dynex Industries has been an excellent industrial resident of <br />the City for many years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dynex has a history of providing safe disposal of hazardous <br />~stes generated in the course of their business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this record of safety indicates a thorough knowledge of <br />hazardous waste disposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the establishment of this <br />facility would provide a benefit both to the residents of Mounds View and <br />Ramsey County. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the City's request that the County host, in conjunction <br />with various cities in Ramsey County, public informational meetings on the <br />disposal of household hazardous waste and inform the residents as to how <br />Dynex will handle the collection, storage and disposal of these household <br />hazardous wastes. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View does hereby expresses its support for location of a household <br />hazardous waste facility at Dynex, Industries, Inc. in the City of Mounds <br />View. <br /> <br />2tTTEST: <br /> <br />Adopted this 12 day of August, 19~. <br /> <br />7~-z: .... <br />0th??~. .~~~.9 <br />CITY ADMINIST TOR . <br /> <br />.AL) <br />
