<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5177 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE] 998 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT <br />REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of SCORE funds to <br />improve recycling participation by the public; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a grant to provide <br />administrative and promotional activities intended to improve recycling participation among city <br />residents through education, awareness, and incentives; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds Vicw has determined that this is an <br />appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling participation benefits the public <br />health. safety, and welfare of the community as a whole. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View approve the application for 1998 SCORE funding (attachment A) and authorizc acceptance <br />of any allocated funding. <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />-l- <br /> <br />Charles S.
