<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5208 <br />Approving salary adjustments for all non-union employees for 1998 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />County of Ramsey <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Councilor introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the cost of living wage increases for governmental employees for 1998 appear to be <br />averaging approximately 3%: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City did not increase its contribution towards the cost of employees' health insurance <br />in 1997 and it appears that the cost of health insurance for 1998 will be increasing in excess of 5%: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has not settled its contract with thc two unions representing its Police Depmtment <br />employees. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that it <br />does hereby approve a 3% salary increase to all full-time employees and permanent pmt-time employees <br />as per the attached 1998 Salary Schedule. excluding those Police Department employees covered by <br />union contracts. retroactive to January I. 1998. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOL YED. that the City does hereby increase its maximum contribution towards <br />health and other associated insurances from $330 per month to $340 per month. effective January I. <br />1998. for all eligible employees, excluding those Police Department employees covered by union <br />contracts. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilor and the roll <br />being call, the following vote was recorded: <br />Voting Aye: Councilors. <br />Voting Nay: <br />Not Voting: <br /> <br />Whereas said resolution was declared to have been duly passed and adopted this 26th day of January, <br />1998. <br /> <br />^ TTEST: <br /> <br />w <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAU <br /> <br /> <br />'- <br />
