<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5242 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW FOR AN <br />OVERSIZED STORAGE SHED FOR LEONARD MEDRUD AND ARTHUR JORDAN <br />AT 2085 OAKWOOD DRIVE; MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE NO. 529-98 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Leonard Medrud and Arthur Jordan have applied for a conditional use <br />pcrmit to convert an existing 280 squarc-foot garage into a back yard storage shed on property <br />located at 2085 Oakwood Drive, zoned R-l, Single Family Residential, legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />LOT 29, BLOCK J, PINEWOOD TERRACE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Mounds View Zoning Code allows, with a conditional use permit, up <br />to 1,264 square feet of garage/accessory building on one lot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed the following documents <br />rcgarding this proposal: <br /> <br />a. Planning Application <br />b. Zoning Map <br />c. Sitc Plan <br />d. Area Map with Building Footprints <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the dimensional requirements in Chapter 1104 <br />the Zoning Code for this proposal have been met; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council makes the following findings that possible adverse effects <br />have been considered in its recommendation, as required by Section 1125.01 Subd. I.e.: <br /> <br />I. Relationship with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />The Comprehensive Plan encourages thc development and maintenance of residential areas so as to <br />improve the quality, appearance and attractiveness of housing units and residcntial property in <br />general. The Comprchcnsive Plan designates this property, 2085 Oakwood Drive, low-density <br />residential. This proposal does not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />., <br />4. <br /> <br />The Geographical Area Involved. <br />The Charactcr of the Surrounding Area <br />
