RESOLUTION NO. 8018 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR <br /> PART TIME ACCOUNT CLERK <br /> WHEREAS, Marge Norquist has retired from the Mounds View Finance Department <br /> effective October 19, 2012; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 45.18; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 414.40 hours; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Marge Norquist's current rate of pay is $20.43 per hour; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel <br /> Manual, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 414.40 hours x <br /> 50%x her hourly rate of$20.43 = $4,233.10 into Ms. Norquist's Retirement Health Savings <br /> Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel <br /> Manual, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be 45.18 <br /> accrued/unused vacation hours x her hourly rate of$20.43 = $923.03. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves a one-time payout of sick time not to exceed $4,233.10 into Ms. Norquist's <br /> Retirement Health Savings Plan in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View <br /> Personnel Manual. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br /> Council approves a one-time payout of vacation time to Ms. Norquist not to exceed <br /> $923.03, consistent with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> Adopted this 13th day of November, 2012. <br /> e Flaherty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
