RESOLUTION NO. 8014 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2013 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT <br /> REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of SCORE funds to <br /> improve recycling participation by the public; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a grant to provide <br /> administrative and promotional activities intended to improve recycling participation among <br /> city residents through education, awareness, and incentives; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has determined that this is <br /> an appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling participation benefits the <br /> public health, safety, and welfare of the community as a whole. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View approves the attached application for 2013 SCORE funding and authorizes <br /> acceptance of any allocated funding. <br /> Adopted this 13th day of November 2012. <br /> aCi <br /> Jo laherty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
