RESOLUTION NO. 8011 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE AND CREATE AN ELIGIBILITY LIST TO FILL A <br /> POLICE OFFICER POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission decided to dissolve <br /> the old eligibility list and create a new current eligibility list for a police officer position; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to establish a new list the City of Mounds View must advertise <br /> for the hiring of a new police officer; and <br /> WHEREAS, to maintain adequate patrol coverage for the public safety of the <br /> community, the timely replacement of a police officer will ensure proper coverage is <br /> provided and will avoid interrupting the continuity of functional police operations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the replacement officer shall be hired from the new Civil Service <br /> eligibility list; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Ramsey County, Minnesota that approval is granted to advertise and create a new <br /> eligibility list for the position of police officer for the City of Mounds View. <br /> Adopted this 13th day of November 2012. <br /> iAi�/ <br /> Joe laherty, .
