<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLuTION :-.iO. 5289 <br /> <br />CITY OF .MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAyISEY <br />STATE OF NIL."\j'NESOTA <br /> <br />SEVERANCE PLA.NIPROGRA~I FOR CITY OF lVIOUNDS VIEW PARKS <br />AND RECREATION EYIPLOYEES DISPLACED BY THE <br />OUTSOURCING OF THE CITY PARKS AND RECREATION <br />DEPARThIENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eliminating the City's Parks and Recreation <br /> <br />Department for budgetary re~ons: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the elimination of the City's Parks and Recreation Department for budgetary <br /> <br />re~ons will eliminate the positions of the Parks and Recreation Director and the Recreation <br /> <br />ProgrJIns Supervisor: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the elimination of these two Cicy positions results in the displacement of <br /> <br />two City employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City to offer such employees a severance be=:1efits <br /> <br />package consistent with the City Code. City Administrative policies. and state and federal <br /> <br />statutes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes contemolate that such severance benetics oackage be <br />. . - <br /> <br />instituted at the discretion of the City Council. subject to certain funding requirements. <br /> <br />NOW. THEREFORE.
