<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />5291 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RECOGNITION OF THE ABOLITION OF TWO POSITIONS WlTWN <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW PARKS AND RECREATION <br />DEPARTMENT DUE TO THE OUTSOURCING OF THE CITY PARKS <br />AND RECREA nON DEPARTMENT FOR BUDGETARY REASONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the CitY of Mounds View is eliminating the City's Parks and R~creation <br /> <br />Department for budgetary reasons; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the elimination of me City's Parks and Recreation Department for budgetary <br /> <br />reasons will eliminate the positions of the Parks and Rccreanon Director and the Recreation <br /> <br />. Programs Supervisor; and <br />WHEREAS. the Mounds View Municipal Code provides in the situation of the abolition <br /> <br />of a position that two (2) wc:eks' advance written notice shall be given. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOL VEn THAT the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />Mounds View abolishc:s the po:>ltions of the Parks and Recreation Director and the Recreation <br /> <br />Programs Supervisor in the City of Mounds View's Parks and Recreation Department for <br /> <br />budgetary reasons. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Council directs <br /> <br />CitY staff to provide the appropriate notice of such Council action. pursuant to Municipal Code <br /> <br />Section 307.01. to the affected c:mploye~s. <br /> <br />- <br />
