<br />;. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4118 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1HANKING THE MOUNDS VIEW llON'S nUB <br />FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO FIREWORKS <br />FOR THE 1991 "FESTIVAL IN THE PARK" CRT .RRRATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city celebration was to be held only if funding for the activities <br />were contributed from outside sources; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the fireworks display has always been a large attraction during the <br />"Festival in the Park" celebration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cost of the fireworks were prohibitive for the City budget;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Lion's Club donated $5,000.00 which is the total <br />cost of the fireworks display; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, those people that were in attendance at the fireworks display <br />enjoyed a wonderful show of a Mounds View sky lit up in many different colors and <br />patterns. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View thanks the Mounds View Lion's Club for their generous contribution of <br />$5,000.00 for the total cost of the fireworks display during the "Festival in the Park" city <br />celebration. <br /> <br />Presented this 26th day of August, 1991. <br /> <br />Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />Phyllis Blanchard, Councilmember <br /> <br />Diane Wuori, Councilmember <br /> <br />Gary Quick, Councilmember <br /> <br />Pat Rickaby, Councilmember <br /> <br />Samantha Orduno, Clerk-Administrator <br />
