<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4152 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1991/92 PAY EQUITY ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 1990 Legislature amended the Pay Equity <br />Act and established a new definition to equitable compensation <br />relationships; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 1990 amendment states that the pattern <br />of compensation for female-dominated classes cannot be <br />consistently below the pattern of compensation of male- <br />dominated classes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an analysis of the compensation patterns of <br />the male and female-dominated classes within the City of <br />Mounds View has indicated a compensation pattern of female- <br />dominated classes which is inconsistent with the requirements <br />of the Pay Equity Law as set forth in Minnesota Statues; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Pay Equity Law dictates that all <br />political subdivisions must be in compliance with the Law by <br />December 31, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View must make pay <br />adjustments to the female-dominated classes prior to <br />December 31, 1991 in order to achieve compliance with the Pay <br />Equity Act. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does <br />hereby approve the following 1992 Pay Equity Adjustments <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A effective December 9, 1991. <br /> <br />Adopted this 23 day of December, 1991. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br />-ADMINISTRATOR <br />
