After that time, movement was largely confined <br />i to lateral shifts from neighboring suburbs. As a city, it is <br />still able to attract young families; the major problem is <br />keeping them in Mounds View. <br />Prior Residence and Motivation for Move: <br />Mounds View, because of its geographical location, has been <br />able to attract people from both core cities; in many ways, it is <br />more of a Hennepin County suburb than a Ramsey County one.
