<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4396 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PROCEED WITH CITY HALL BUILDING <br />PROJECT AND TRANSFER OF NECESSARY FUNDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has identified through a space <br />needs study that Mounds View City Hall is not in compliance with <br />American's with Disabilities Act and is in general need of <br />additional office space and refurbishing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the upgrading and refurbishing would make City Hall more <br />user friendly, in compliance with Federal Americans with <br />Disabilities Law, and a more efficient and effective office for <br />daily operations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has contracted with Bonestroo <br />and Associates to do the architectural design and layout work and <br />have submitted a conservative cost estimate for the proposed <br />project to be $501,000. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />hereby authorize City staff to proceed with the City Hall <br />Building Project; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following transfers to the City <br />Hall Building Project Fund are hereby authorized: In 1993, <br />$31,250 from the Water Fund, $31,250 would come from the Sewer <br />Fund, if net income is sufficient. If the net income in the <br />Sewer Fund is not sufficient, $31,250 would be transferred from <br />the General Fund. Also, $20,000 be transferred from the <br />undesignated fund balance of the General Fund to help defray any <br />potential unforeseen costs. In 1994, $31,250 from the Water <br />Fund, $31,250 would come from the Sewer Fund, if net income is <br />sufficient. If the net income in the Sewer Fund is not <br />sufficient, $31,250 would be transferred from the General Fund. <br /> <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that any unused funds would be transferred <br />back to the appropriate Fund Accounts on a prorated basis. <br /> <br />Presented this 9th day of August, 1993. <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br />~ (ATTEST) <br />
