<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4803 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH JOHN HAMMERSCHMIDT <br />FOR GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's current Golf Course Superintendent has been accepted to <br />the prestigious agronomy program at Penn State and will be leaving City employment <br />on or around September 7, 1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has contacted the candidate who was the alternate in the <br />selection of the Superintendent last June; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. John Hammerschmidt has agreed to contract with the City as an <br />Independent Contractor to provide golf course superintendent services for a period <br />commencing on or about September 6, 1995 and terminating no later than December <br />15, 1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the compensation amount of the contract shall be an hourly wage, but <br />no more than the current compensation of the City's previous Superintendent of $25,000 <br />per 10 months; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contract shall provide for a monthly payment of an additional $200 <br />for independent health coverage. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council in and for the City <br />of Mounds View does hereby authorize the Mayor and City Administer to execute a <br />Contract between the City of Mounds View and Mr. John Hammerscmidt with the above- <br />mentioned conditions. <br /> <br />Adopted this 5th day of September, 1995. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />e~~b~ <br />City Administrator <br />
