<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4844 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING STAFF TO COORDINATE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE <br />PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE PROJECT THE REMOVAL OF THE STORM WATER DETENTION <br />POND AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF HIGHWAY 10 AND LONG LAKE ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the engineering and design firms who presented proposals to the City of <br />Mounds View suggested that the City would benefit from removal of the storm water <br />detention pond at the Northwest comer of Long Lake Road and Highway 10; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, removal of the pond, in conjunction with the bridge project would improve <br />the accessibility of the bridge and the general appearance of the area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff considers the project feasible but needs to retain engineering <br />services to coordinate this project with the pedestrian bridge construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BRW, Inc, has the staff available to coordinate the project with the <br />. pedestrian bridge project <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council directs staff to further <br />investigate with BRW, Inc., the coordination of the pedestrian bridge project with the removal <br />of the storm water detention pond at the Northwest corner of Long Lake Road and Highway <br />10 and report back to the City Council with proposals and cost estimates. <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of November, 1995. <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br />-1 <br /> <br />-' " \ <br />..~'" ((t;'.i -t..<-) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />. <br />
