CUOO-004 <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, Thomas Stamptle has applied for a conditional use pemlit to construct a <br />1,248 square-foot garage in the side yard of his property located at 2832 WoodaJc Drive, <br />property zoned R-l, Single Family Residential, and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 92, Kllo/lwood Park <br />Ramsey COUllty, Millllesota <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, The Mounds View Zoning Code conditionally allows garages in excess of <br />952 square feet in area \-vith a maximum accessory building area not to exceed 1,400 square feet; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed the following documents <br />regarding this proposal: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Development Application <br />Zoning Map <br />Existing Site Plan <br />Proposed Site Plan <br />Location Map <br />Photographic Documentation <br />Letter from Applicant, dated 4/6/00 <br />Staff Report <br />Planning Commission Resolution 617-00 <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />c. <br />d. <br />e. <br />f. <br /> <br />g. <br /> <br />h. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council finds that the proposal satisfies the <br />dimensional requirements and conditional use permit requirements as outlined in Chapters 1104, <br />1106 and 1125 of the Zoning Code; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council finds that the request is consistent with the <br />Mounds View Comprehensive Plan in that the Comprehensive Plan encourages the development <br />and maintenance of residential areas so as to improve the quality, appearance and attractiveness of <br />housing units and residential property in general; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the\1ounds View City Council finds that the proposed garage would not be <br />out of place given the character and geography of the surrounding area involved in that the lot is <br />rather large and expanded garages are commonplace residential structural improvements which heIp <br />keep properties neat and orderly; anel, <br />
