Raymondjoined the Fire Department Alarch 14, 1983 as a nightfirefighter assigned to Station <br />One. Due to a change inl1isjidltimejoh sh!fi, he lI'as assigned to the day sh(ft at Station One. <br /> <br />lVIlEREAS, Raymond \l'(IS appointed as acting Fire Alotor Operator in August (~l1985 and promoted 10 the <br />fid1 rank of Fire Alotor Operator 011 Dec€:!mher 15, 1985. In Decemher of 1986 he l1'as appointed Captain and <br />served in this capacity until August l?ll991l1'hen he retumed to the position v.fFire Alotor Operator. Raymond <br />served at Station One during his entir€:! tenure with the Fire Department. <br /> <br />Vr"flEREAS, Raymond l1Y1S cert(jied as Firefighter 1 in 1989, recert(fied in 1999, Firefighter II in 1990 and <br />Firefighter l1I in 199] hy Anoka Technical College, and also trained in 1988 to the Fire Instructor II level at <br />Hennepin Technical College. <br /> <br />e IVIlEREAS. Raymond maintained the r€:!quired First Aid/CPR C€:!rt(fications <br />as lvell as h€:!ing certified as an Emergency Medical Technician. <br /> <br />WHt'RI:AS, Raymond responded to 2, 594.fire calls and altend€:!d over 73() lI'eek~v drills. In addition to his <br />firefighting dillies, he assisted with fir€:! prevention and puhlicfire education presentations/el'ents and participated <br />in ollr anllual Open House and Santa tours.
