<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5571 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF PARTICIPATING IN THE NORTH METRO 1- <br />35W CORRIDOR COALITION HOUSING RESOURCE CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View recognizes that housing <br />maintenance and neighborhood reinvestment is an important issue in the <br />community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has established a goal to proactively <br />encourage housing and property maintenance to ensure stable neighborhoods <br />and maintain property values; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View supports educational efforts that will <br />assist property owners in renovating and remodeling their homes; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View recognizes that the partnerships <br />created through the North Metro 1-35W Corridor Coalition will enable the City to <br />pursue this goal. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City <br />Mounds View hereby approves the participation in the Housing Resource Center <br />program through the North Metro 1-35W Corridor Coalition for a period of three <br />years. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT such participation shall be reviewed <br />and evaluated on an annual basis and that detailed summary statistics shall be <br />presented. <br /> <br />Adopted this 11 th day of June, 2001. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Richard Sonterre, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />r: ~:::-t1fdt- <br />Kathleen Miller, City Clerk/Administrator <br /> <br />.
