<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Resolution 5598 <br />August U. 2001 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />\VIIEREAS, thc Mounds Vicw City Council hcld a public hearing rcgarding this request <br />on August 13, 200 I; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, thc Mounds Vicw City Council finds that the proposal satisfics thc <br />dimensional requircmcnts as outlined in Chapters 1104 and 1106 the Zoning Codc; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the \1ounds View City Council finds that thc request is consistent with thc <br />Mounds View Comprehensivc Plan in that thc Comprehensive Plan cncourages the devclopmcnt and <br />maintenance of rcsidential arcas so as to improvc thc quality, appcarance and attractivcncss of <br />housing units and residcntial property in gencral; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, thc Mounds View City Council finds that thc proposed garage would not bc out <br />of place given thc charactcr and geography of the surrounding area involved in that other homes in <br />thc arca have similar sized garagcs and that there is sufficicnt room on thc subject property to <br />accommodatc such a structure; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS. thc Mounds Vicw City Council finds that thc proposed garagc addition would <br />not deprcciate the neighborhood; and, <br /> <br />\\'IIEREAS, the Mounds View City Council finds that the applicant has sufficiently <br />demonstratcd that a need cxists lor the proposed oversized garagc; and, <br /> <br />NO\V. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds Vicw City Council approves <br />thc conditional use pcrmit \vith the following stipulations: <br /> <br />I. Thc applicant shall arrange to rccord the City Council resolution approving the conditional <br />use pcrmit with Ramsey County and provide proof of such recordation to the City within <br />sixty days or Council approval or this permit shall be considered null and void. <br /> <br />') The garagc shall not be used for commercial purposes, living space or other uscs not <br />allowed within the R-I Single-Family Residential district or by the Zoning Code. Should <br />the use change lar which the pCllllit was granted, the conditional use pellllit shall be <br />considered null and void. <br /> <br />3. The garage shall be constructed of materials that match the existing structure. <br />
