<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />i~ _1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4080 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE VARIANCE APPEAL BY JOHN ENGBERG <br />TO ALLOW A 900 SQUARE FOOT GARAGE WHERE ONLY <br />AN 864 SQUARE FOOT GARAGE IS ALLOWED, 3030 COUNTY ROAD J. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is presently a 900 square foot detached <br />garage on the property located at 3030 County Road J; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no building permit was obtained for the 900 <br />square foot detached garage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. John Engberg has applied for a variance to <br />allow the 900 square foot garage to remain where only an 864 <br />square foot garage is allowed by Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has <br />reviewed the variance request and the criteria for granting a <br />variance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the <br />applicant's hardship statement and agree that no hardship is <br />present on the property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that <br />there are reasonable alternatives to the request; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has denied the request <br />for variance by Resolution No. 311-91; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Engberg has appealed the Planning <br />Commission decision to the City Council as per City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the appeal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that no undue <br />hardship exists on the property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />City Council denies the variance appeal of John Engberg for an <br />oversized garage at 3030 County Road J. <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of May, 1991. <br />
