<br />.1' <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4083 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF WATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT CONTROLS FROM A SOLE SOURCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the AUTOCON controls currently used for <br />controlling the water system were procured through a competitive <br />bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new water treatment plant being <br />competitively bid for replacement of existing water treatment <br />Plant No.1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the new water treatment plant must have <br />controls compatible with the existing water system control <br />program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the AUTOCON hardware and software is supplied <br />exclusively by Automatic Systems Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View, Minnesota, that the AUTOCON hardware and <br />software is "non-competitive equipment" within the meaning of the <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.36, and therefore is exempted <br />from the competitive bidding requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted this 28th day of May, 1991. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />9~ <br />~Cf~J <br />CityAdminisrator · <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
