<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4066 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF <br />LIFT STATION EQUIPMENT FROM A SOLE SOURCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has an existing Supervisory <br />Control and Data Acquisition system which utilizes Auto-Con <br />equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the reconstruction of the lift station at Bronson Drive <br />and Raymond Avenue is to be connected to this existing <br />system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the equipment at this lift station must be compatible <br />with the existing SCADA system equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the dealer and sole source of Auto-Con equipment is <br />Automatic Systems Company; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Minnesota, that the Auto-Con equipment is <br />"non-competitive equipment" within the meaning of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Section 471.36, and therefore is exempted from the <br />competitive bidding requirements; and that the will <br />negotiate the purchase of this equipment form Automatic <br />Systems Company who is the dealer for Auto-Con equipment in <br />the area. <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of April) "~I <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />(Seal) <br /> <br />~a-,~A) ~} <br />Clerk-Admin~strator <br />
