RESOLUTION NO. 8107 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE APPLICATION OF COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> CAROL MUELLER TO SERVE ON THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES <br /> BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br /> WHEREAS,the League of MN Cities represents the City of Mounds View and more <br /> than 800 other member municipalities across the state of Minnesota; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the League is governed by a Board of appointed and elected officials <br /> from its member municipalities; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the League will be appointing new members to the Board at its annual <br /> meeting in June; and, <br /> WHEREAS, candidates selected to serve on the Board should be representative, <br /> responsible, strategic, and visionary; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Council Member Carol Mueller has submitted an application to serve on <br /> the League Board; and, <br /> WHEREAS, in consideration of her years of dedicated volunteer and elected service <br /> to community, Council Member Mueller would be an ideal candidate to serve on the <br /> League Board in representation of Mounds View and all cities throughout the state of <br /> Minnesota. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br /> endorses, supports and approves Council Member Mueller's efforts to serve on the League <br /> of Minnesota Cities Board of Directors and recommends a copy of this resolution be <br /> forwarded to the Nominating Committee for their due consideration <br /> Adopted this 28th day of May, 2013. <br /> *40r <br /> - Flaherty, Ma • <br /> ATTEST: <br /> aivvuz <br /> • 1 <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
